About the Seminar
The Annual Public Safety Wellness Seminar is a free event planned by RGV911.
This event reflects our collective efforts to bring awareness to the mental health challenges our public safety professionals face on a day-to-day basis—whether they're behind the phone as our true first responders or out in the field. We welcome all public safety personnel (9-1-1 Telecommunicators, Border Patrol, Firefighters, EMS, Police, etc.) as well as community members.
This seminar gives our district a platform to celebrate the often-forgotten heroes—our 9-1-1 Telecommunicators in Hidalgo and Willacy Counties. A major highlight of the event is the Telecommunicator Award Ceremony, where we recognize outstanding mentors and hardworking individuals. We announce our PSAP Supervisor of the Year and Sandra Coronado Awards, and honor those who have dedicated 10, 15, and 20 years of service in the field.

Free parking is available on-site at the Mission Event Center.
From McAllen
Take Expressway 83 West toward Mission. Exit at Shary Road and head north. The Mission Event Center will be on your right.
Event Hours
Doors open at 8:00 AM. The seminar runs from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
